The platform

Four modules.
One unbroken system.

Shorekeeper wasn't stitched together from acquisitions or retrofitted from a 2006 desktop app. It was designed from the first line of code as one cohesive platform — Claims, Tides, WhatsApp and Compliance — so nothing falls between the seams.

i. Claims

From FNOL to settlement — without the paper chase.

Every motor and non-motor workflow, in one place. Claims are registered, triaged, assessed, settled and audited without ever leaving the platform. Every state change is logged. Every document is versioned. Every decision has an owner.

  • Motor & non-motor claim templates, tuned for South African conditions.
  • Assessor reports, quotations and settlement payments all linked to the parent claim.
  • Smart status automation — reserves update, letters draft themselves, deadlines watch themselves.
  • Full audit trail down to the field level. No "who changed this?" ever again.

ii. Tides

A conversation per claim — not 47 emails in 5 inboxes.

Tides is threaded, context-aware collaboration attached directly to the claim it's about. Handlers, assessors, brokers and EVE all talk in the same thread — with a clean internal/external boundary so nothing awkward ever ends up in front of the client.

  • Internal-only and external threads on the same claim, clearly separated.
  • EVE can summarise a thread, draft a reply, or suggest the next step.
  • Mentions, attachments, and decisions are all first-class.
  • Full history travels with the claim — forever.

Yes — please draft. Thanks EVE.
iii. WhatsApp

Where your clients already are.

Shorekeeper is WhatsApp-native by default. Clients register claims, pull policy schedules, upload documents and escalate — without installing a thing. EVE handles the conversation end-to-end, and hands over cleanly when a human is needed.

  • FNOL in under 3 minutes, from first message to claim number.
  • Policy and claim status lookup, scoped to the caller's own phone number.
  • Document upload — photos, police reports, invoices — straight into the claim.
  • Seamless handover to a human handler, with full context preserved.

I had an accident this morning, need to claim
Sorry to hear that Fanie. I've pulled up your policy ADP16257C. Was anyone injured?
No, just panel damage on the passenger side
Got it. Could you send me a photo of the damage and of the other vehicle's number plate?

Thanks. I've opened claim SK2026/4/0004. A handler will be in touch today. You can reply here any time for an update.
iv. Compliance

Audit-ready, every day of the year.

FAIS, POPIA, broker onboarding, bordereaux, record-keeping — Shorekeeper treats compliance as product, not paperwork. The work happens as you go, not at month-end in a panic.

  • Broker onboarding workflows with FSP verification and document expiry tracking.
  • Compliance calendars with auto-reminders and sign-off chains.
  • Bordereaux generated automatically from the transactional record.
  • POPIA-native: consent, retention and data-subject access built in.
